Is there a way you can use a IP8 controller so that when you select an aux to change the mix (Sends on Fader) the Avantis will not follow on the console and the FOH eng won’t be effected by what the person on the IP8 is doing ?

As of now when I select a mix on the IP8 the mixer also goes into that mode and I don’t want that

I know I can disable sends on faders in the menu but I want to keep that for the FOH eng

Assign the faders as (Send Channel Type as your input channel) and (Recv Channel Type as your destination aux). Use the custom buttons to “switch” layers for the same or different auxes.

The mute controls should be set as ON/OFF for that same aux, so that it doesn’t mute the main channel.
