Is it possible to update the firmware without QuDrive ?

Hi,

I don’t have any usb device that meets the strict requirements of the QU-drive on the QU-16 that I have. Is there any other way of updating the firmware ?

None that I know of.

The Kingston Data Traveler series work perfect.

Our local Fed Ex Office store sells them and the big A on line
store has them.

you dont need to meet the official ‘requirements’
what you need is to insert a usb drive and have them actually recognize it and format it
then use that one whatever the specs said

NOTE
MOST of the kingston data travellers work BUT not ALL of them

However they are by far your best bet these days
you should try some of those before buying others

unless you can find an old usb2 drive somewhere, which is how I found the first one that we could use
later I did find a KDT that worked so now we have a spare/backup memory stick
