LCR+ With FX Returns

Currently, with the Stereo FX returns (and I assume any Stereo channels), instead of the Divergence working as expected (allowing signal to go from all Center to all L/R), the signal is always sent to the L/R and the divergence only controls how much is sent to the C.
With a mono channel, with divergence control fully CCW, it eliminates the sound from the L/R entirely and sends it only to the Center.

I would like to have a stereo return for the FX, where the divergence controls the amount of signal to the L/R as well as the Center, so I can have a scenario where the FX is mostly Center, with just a little in the L/R, same as is possible with a Mono channel, but with stereo signal to the L/R.

Is this a bug in the LCR+ mode of Stereo channels?

Anyone?

I don’t think it’s a bug, just one way to implement it…
the whole surround mixing system is not really flexible as within most of the DAW’s around
much room for improvement
