LED Littlite

Will the XLR4LED lights made by Littlite work on the iLive T consoles?

Yes they do. I purchased two of them for my T112 Surface, very bright. Cozy too.

just have to turn around the xlr 180 degrees on the t112 backside

Please dont buy this Starville stuff, after some months, the leds will give up.

Littlites are great but not dimmable…

Good point on the LED think I will look at their regular stuff.

why not use original A&H led lamps?

twice the price.

I bought an original A&H light some years ago - I’d like to think they’d improved the construction because the one I had didn’t hold up to normal wear and tear very well for the (inflated) price.

FWIW, If anyone wants to roll your own on the cheap I picked up a package of “driving lights” at the local farm store. These are small linear LED lights about 4"x 1/2" x 1" that are supposed to mount under or on the bumper of a vehicle. I was pretty sure for slightly over 20$ they’d be a joke for a vehicle but wondered if they’d be usable for console lights or something similar. I had a old 12V wall wart in the junk box and hooked em up to that and they work fairly well for what I’ve got in them. If I can find some small diameter gooseneck material somewhere I’ll have a couple of nice lights for under 30$. Just remains to be seen if the LED’s hold up.

Not managed to trash any of the 3 I have for my 112 yet must be 4 years old now. Shame you can’t recall the brightness level as part of a scene recall though[:o)]
