I’m at the point where the only thing I use from Waves is Playlist Rider to help level out video audio in corporate shows and to set a target LUFS for live stream outputs. It works so much nicer than a typical Compressor as you avoid the too much compression and not enough make up gain situations when level is too low or too high. Something in the Compressor slot that achieves this would eliminate me using Waves completely.
The ILive( that is the system before Dlive)used to have an auto gain control i think. They removed it in DLive. I don’t know why.
