listening to audio (in headphones) on the tablet

Hello.
Is it possible to listen to the sound in the headphones via the tablet when making adjustments? Or when I leave the room / in the hallway, etc…
I know that I can look at the wu-meters to… “move” but…
Can I have headphones connected to the tablet to check that the sound from the conference, for example, is within the parameters?

No, not possible. You may wish to consider adding a wireless in ear monitor transmitter setup to your kit so you can roam around and still be able to monitor the listen bus.

offf… I expected it to be only command protocol… but I asked anyway
I will look for a transmitter capable of bluetooth and maybe solve it like this… it remains to be seen how long the distance remains in contact… the BT area being more limited than via wifi…

Hopefully you find something to your liking. Not sure where you are located but we have plenty of low(er?) cost IEM options that are pretty good here. I use a 900mhz Pheynx Pro for wireless monitoring of the listen bus and it’s pretty darn good. Maybe not as good as a $1000 Shure or Senheiser but definitely better than some of the typical $100 Bluetooth/2.4 GHZ stuff I’ve tried in past. I guess it depends on your price range and distance requirement.

The difficulty and reasons for not being able to do this are mostly with quality and latency.
To get the latency low enough for use in a live environment, the quality is not high enough to be of any use.
To get a high enough quality, there is too much latency.

At some point I’m sure there will be a solution, there are many companies who have tried and some have managed good performance with specific setups, but at the moment the best solution is still a dedicated wireless system.

Excellent information and details.
I searched on the net … and I think that a good option would be the Sennheiser XSW IEM A-Band + IE100Pro, which I will probably find other uses for.

If you connect the CQ to your computer or device with its usb b port (usb out) you should find its output audio is heard in the headphone ports of your computer. You may have to align which ports your computer outputs audio from to your headphones if no sound is there by the default connections. Those settings are usually in the computers audio/sound card settings.

But I believe you can do it as usb sends all its mixer channels audio over the usb in multi stream mode and stereo out in stereo mode,
