What DAW are you using?

Logic ,m1 Mac mini works with other digital controllers for displaying track names

I also can’t get this to work and would like some input. Also using logic.

Totally get where you’re coming from having track

I am also unable to get track names back from Logic pro on my new QU 5 Mixer.

Anyone have success with solving this yet?

Similar problem for me using my QU-5 and M1 Mac mini with Pro Tools. This does make it quite challenging to hit the right fader each time especially when banking up and down as well. Any thoughts on resolution would be appreciated. I am using HUI protocol as well.

Same here… recently purchased a new QU6… running a m2 Mac and I have tried setting up midi over Midi, midi over network. I cant get the scribble strips to workin in Ableton, Logic or Studio One. Not only that the whole system feels a little clunky to me… I have one Mackie Control and 2 extenders…all set up as they should be….. but they start off all ok but then will suddenly be out of order or the extenders not working properly…with my first 8 lanes being mirrored with the 2nd or 3rd 8 lanes. Im honestly at my whits end with it. I have watch many A&H employees or reps on various YouTube videos claiming it can do this… but ive yet to see any screen shot or vid showing the scribble strips working with anything other than general channel use. Ive sent a ticket into A&H and im awaiting their responce but im not holding my breath. I suspect I will be taking this unit back and swapping it for the new Presonus Studiolive SE24.

Hi Folks, I just updated to v1.1.1 firmware and i still cannot get the MIDI scribble strip names from Logic Pro to the Qu-5. IF anyone has any words of wisdom on getting it to work I would be grateful. I ran the firmware without issue, but still no MIDI names transmitted from Logic Pro. IMac m3 Sonoma 14.8.1/ Logic 11.2.2

You also have to update the A&H MIDI control application to 2.3. If you are using a mac make sure you close the application before you install the new one because it won’t ask you to do it. Took me a few tries to figure that out. Mine finally works!
