This is the only series worth watching. All of the others are incomplete, poorly organized, overly verbose, or contain incorrect information.
Do you have a link to a “getting started” video per the OP’s request? The one you posted appears to be “How to update firmware…” which is obviously well beyond getting started. THX!
The link Legend posted points to a series of 37 videos. The first one is on updating software. If you click on “Watch on YouTube” in the landing page, you’ll see the entire list of videos which will get a beginner going on the mixer.
Updating firmware is usually the first step with any new device. As mentioned, the link is to the full official tutorial series from A&H, and that’s the first video in the series. The playlist covers all required topics for the mixer.
I updated the firmware from 1.2 to 1.2.1 right out of the box & it was disaster due to the whole USB audio drop-out when switching between apps. Following that best practice was a mess & I had to re-flash the firmware back to OoB version.
That’s more commentary on the A&H CQ software team than anything else.
At the risk of sounding offensive, something seems to have gone very wrong there.
