Mac OS Sequoia Compatibility with CQ Series

I’m interested in upgrading my mac to Sequoia but am wondering what folks have found with compatibility with the CQ series… I have the CQ18t and love it, but I can’t afford to have Sequoia present problems. Any thoughts, experiences, recommendations, warnings? Much appreciated. Thank you.

I’ve been using my CQ 20b virtually all the time with Sequoia on my Mac, upgrading Sequoia versions as they occur.

I really haven’t noticed any issues in day to day activities like recording to DAW or file management. I have connected to my Sequoia machine both wirelessly and via network again without any CQ related issues. I suppose that should be the case with the CQ processing based on FAT32 file system and mixpad written for earlier OSX versions.

Clearly A&H will test in more specific and organised ways in respect of the mixpad software and update as a when they spot problems. If there’s nothing mission critical to you in your use, ie impacts only you, I wouldn’t hold back on updating OSX.

Cheers
David

I am on sequoia and for the most part I haven’t had any problems. I did have dropouts occasionally but I have since switched USB cables and it seems to be a thing of the past, although the cable swap is quite recent so I can’t confirm 100%
