mackie control to control a group mix in allen heath sq6

Hello,

is there any way to use a Mackie Control midi device to control a group mix in Allen Heath SQ6 ?

For example I use group mix 8 for my stage monitor mix.
I would like Mackie Control Universal Surface to control my mix on stage

Yes, this is possible with some work.
The SQ does not respond to MCU messaging directly, but can be controlled with MIDI NRPN messages as detailed in the MIDI Protocol Document (https://www.allen-heath.com/media/SQ-MIDI-Protocol-Issue4.pdf).
So you would need to translate any messages from the MCU into SQ messages.
This could be done with a computer running a translator like Bome MIDI Translator (Bome MIDI Translator Pro – Bome Software), or with a BomeBox (BomeBox – Bome Software) running a custom translation file.
