I believe I found a bug regarding pre and post fader options on outputs when using my IEM. SO Yesterday at a gig I noticed that my IEM mix was changing even though I wasn’t making any volume changes to my out 1 mix. Turns out my FOH engineer was making changes to the main fader page this caused my mix to change when we got around checking why we noticed the input send level in out put 1 is set to pre fader and the output source point is set to post comp so technically moving the main faders shouldn’t affect my output 1 mix right. What I did was go back to the output 1 config page and toggled from pre to post a couple of times and also toggled the stereo link 1and 2 on and off this strangely made the pre fader work normally again. I hope someone can tell me if I’m missing something or is this a bug. Thanks for your time.
I have read of this bug before - but I can’t remember for which desk. I think I read of it on the latest SQ 1.6 firmware, but it may be on other desk firmware as well.
