Main mix on an aux bus WITHOUT a matrix

Hi everyone! Im planning for an upcoming event and i ran into some problems/questions.
Im mixing on an sq btw.

I want to add speakers to the changing rooms, and i want the sound of the main l/r and the stage manager’s mic ( so they can call the next person to the stage ) to be heard on the speakers. Is there any way to do this without using a matrix?

Summed up: I want to patch l/r sound and a seperate mic to a mon WITHOUT using a matrix.
i need to do this tommorow so any help would be greatly appriciated.

From the SQ block diagram, I think the simple answer is NO it can’t be done.

However, thinking aloud, there may be a bodge you could do by feeding the phsical LR outputs back into physical inputs where you can use the fed-back LR audio and your microphone to now feed an AUX output. You would have to be very careful about keeping the fed-back LR path away from the LR outputs though! Feedback city.

Any reason why you don’t want to use a matrix?

An answer might be easier if we knew why you don’t want to use a matrix.
Perhaps all of them are already in use.?
Alternatively, you could also use an Aux Mix (you actually mentioned it in the title) if one is still available.
This would also have the advantage of being able to adjust the (post-fader) mix of all inputs for the changing rooms somewhat to suit the intended use.

Your best option is to use a “post fader” aux send with all of the desired channels/sources sent at “unity” to that aux. Now when FOH makes an adjustment to the mix, it will also be adjusted in the aux send. In other words, you “recreate” the LR Mix in the aux by sending it post fader sends set at unity.
