Hey all,
I just got a used me-1 from a pal and it’s on version 1.10. I went to update the unit, when selecting the new firmware and confirming by hitting “ok” the unit restarts (rather quickly), but when checking the firmware its the same version number. Does anyone have any ideas why it wouldn’t be updating?

How is the ME unit connected to the rest of the system? Is it connected directly to a console, a ME-U switch, a third party switch, etc, etc, etc?
I would think a firmware update would function normally through the ME-U switch, but if you are not connecting directly to the console, I would connect the ME unit to the console and see if it “takes” the firmware update then.
