On the SQ6:

  • Press I/O
  • Select ME
  • Select Outputs
  • Select Rack FX
  • Assign Fx1rn L to one of the available ME outputs.

On the ME, when I try to assign that selection to a key, the screen jumps back to Unassigned. If I add it to a group, it locks up at the channel number and doesn’t allow adjustment, and no FX signal is heard.

What’s the trick?

I’ve just tested this with the steps you mention and cannot reproduce the issue.
Would you be able to send (or link us to) a short video to show exactly what’s not working?
