Does/can DLive send a midi message when the SEL is pressed on a strip? I’d like to use that midi info in Waves Superrack Soundgrid to select the corresponding plug-in strip

This was suggested years ago. I think the entire midi system should be revamped. If nothing else, we should get midi ‘learn’, and yes, select should be able to send midi.

Before v2.x firmware, TCP MIDI connections could only be made to the Mix Rack. I strongly suspect that the Mix Rack does not have a way to know what is selected on a Surface (the fact that there can be multiple Surfaces in a system is a challenge, for starters).
However, now that v2.x allows TCP MIDI connections to a Surface, it seems like this would be possible now.
