I am using dLive director as a monitor console and have selected “Mix Follows Mix PAFL”. It works great, select a channel PAFL and you instantly have the equivalent of Sends on Faders for mixing that monitor. Love it.
So I put each PAFL on a soft key for quick selection. When I did this I found that the mix does not follow the PAFL if it is selected via a soft key. I can either select the mix or the PAFL, with a soft key but how can i do them both with one soft Key?
Use the SEL MIX PAFL SCENE soft key, instead of PAFL. This will spill the mix, PAFL it, and should you desire, you could fire a scene, recalling a specific fader layout. you can also leave the scene blank, if that’s not something you want to do.
