Just getting started with the CQ-12T and my iPad and noticed the Mixpad app will not maintain a connection when the app is in the background. This is rather frustrating when performing with an iPad. Whether it is a solo gig where I am running tracks from the iPad or a band gig and I am reading charts it would be great if MixPad would remain connected and ready when I switch to it. Having to make a quick change to my IEM mix or a fader change is not easy when I have to reconnect every time I switch back to MixPad.
My old QSC TouchMix could maintain a connection in the background.
The third party app Mixing Station also maintains a connection.
The CQ-12T should be able to do this as well.
I hope you guys can make it happen.
