Modular vs fixed format iLive surfaces

What’s the difference other than that the modular surfaces have the port B and allow the installation of various audio network cards?

And don’t the mixracks allow that? Meaning you could use a T112 with a mixrack and be able to have dante, madi or other connectivity by buying the cards?
