How do I access the monitor eq using the MixPad app on my android tablet? I run my own IEM’s mix from my drums but have not been able to figure out how to access the monitor eq so that I can eq out my drums, specifically my kick drum. Thank you!
@JT
If you’re using CQ4You, this will only provide level control for a single mix.
For full processing control (albeit including multiple mixes and more margin for error), you would need to use CQ-MixPad.
If output processing is something you’d like to see added to CQ4You, please do post this in the CQ Feature Suggestions section of the forum here.
Thanks!
Keith.
Thank you for your replay but as I stated above I am using the CQ MixPad app not CQ4U…
Processing tab/select your OUT/click on PEQ or GEQ (whatever you have selected in the Output config for the specific OUT) you’re in the page.
I attempted to get in the EQ at my gig on Saturday night. I Googled the process of how, and they came back as you stated about going into the Processing Tab, but I never got to a page that showed anything concerning an EQ (PEQ or GEQ). I’m not well verses in a lot of this new technical ways of accessing stuff, so I honestly don’t understand when you say (whatever you have selected in the Output config for the specific OUT)… my monitor channel is sub group 3 which is selected in order for me to even be able to get to my monitor options where I am at least able to adjust the volumes of each channel accordingly for all instruments and vocals, aside from that I’m really not sure about the rest. Sorry if this makes it more difficult for me to explain. Our guitar player runs the main system from stage and I believe he is just using the quick options that the mixer has, I don’t believe that even he is 100% onto all the option and navigations, etc. I can’t even send any photo’s currently because I am not able to connect to the mixer at home.
Go to CONFIG, then OUTPUTS tab, then select one OUT and you have the choice to have either PEQ & FBA or GEQ.
Most awesome! Thank you very much for this detailed info. I will follow these steps at our next gig…
