I’d love to see some additions to the external midi control that’s currently available on the console. As it stands right now, the most effective way to change certain parameters on the console via midi is using scene recall, which does allow for a lot but still not everything.
I’d love to see some way to directly use the talkback function so I can use something like a stream deck pedal to hit talkback, and currently because there’s no way of doing that through scenes or midi directly, I’d have to eat an input channel and use the mute/unmute functions.
Also, I’d really love to see a way to directly interact with the dimming preferences on the console, ideally via midi but at least with scenes as it’d let me open up the surface illumination to be used as a sort of tally light for comms without having to use scenes which may change my screen brightness or something when I may not want it to.
Sure, I can use scenes to flash the surface illumination, but if my screen brightness has been manually changed to something that’s different than what was recorded in that scene it’s frustrating. At the very least, having some more granularity with scenes regarding the individual dimming options would be great, but ideally opening up those controls to midi control would be great.
