Hi,
Recently installed an AHM32 with CC10 in a large retail premises to control background music over 24 zones. We have been asked if it’s possible to program it to have timers so it automatically plays music from when the shop opens and goes off automatically when the shop closes. I have had a quick look but cannot see anything obvious, Has anyone done this and how would you go about doing that if it can be done. Ideally I would look at creating a mute group for the various audio sources and then muting all the group but open to other suggestions.
Look at the Manage/Events menu in AHM System Manager. You can create recurring events to recall a ‘Music On’ and ‘Music Off’ preset, whose Recall Scope would be configured to only affect the mutes or levels of the desired sources, crosspoints or control groups.
Events are covered in our online AHM training videos at AHM Online Training • Allen & Heath
Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Will have a look into that. I did assume there would be a way to do it however didn’t have long on site to get it set up. Will have more time next time on site for doing things like this.
