(NEED HELP) Xone 96 Recording with Audacity

Hello!

I ran into some problems trying to record on my xone 96 mixer, to my MacBook Pro using audacity.

I used the USB B output from USB 1 (and tried USB 2) and selected the xone 96 as my device. For some reason, everytime I try to record, it records sound of tracks that have their volume fader all the way down. It records every track that is playing, no matter if the volume fader is all the way down or all the way up.

I don’t know how to fix it and it was extremely fruststrating, does anyone have any ideas?

It sounds for me like you’d like to record your mix, but are instead recording one or more inputs.
If that’s the case, as far as I know, you’d need to set the USB 11/12 switch to MST (top) and ensure that your recording software records (only) channels 11/12.
