New external TapTempo device

Would you like to have an external TapTempo device for your CQ ?
It would be DIY and free.
I would give all explanation but I sell nothing, so don’t ask.
Start project is based on ESP32 and it connect to the CQ via wifi.
Arduino IDE will be use to set the network ID and PSW.
Form factor will be a single footswitch, maybe a led or a OLED screen for status.

I am asking because I don’t need it , it is just for fun but if too few reply I will bury this project.

Good project. I also don’t need it but I hope someone wants it. Have you found out if it occupies a full (MixPad) or a small (CQ4You) slot in the CQ? What models does it support?

I don’t need a tap tempo, but I’m interested to see if I could use it for other purposes!

No but I suppose one small slot.
Could not check but 99pc sure that it cover all CQ range.
