New Fourier Audio "Transform.Go" plugin host to support A&H GigaAce and DX ports natively

Fourier has just announced a new product that is a scaled down version of the original plugin host. That’s not what caught my eye however. As part of the announcement, Fourier Audio mentioned that the new device will support A&H products directly using GigaAce or DX connections as well as A&H Midi control over TCP/IP. Pretty cool IMHO and I am glad to see the overlap between companies (given they are all owned by the same parent company).

Yes!!! I was also surprised and excited to see direct support for the Allen&Heath protocols. I’m very curious what that’s going to look like.

Right now I use a custom PC running SuperRack Performer for external processing (SoundGrid card to SoundGrid Driver), but I’d be way more interested in the Fourier solutions if they had native connectivity to my console.

that’s definitely cool!

lets wait for prices and benchmarks.

Thank you, that’s really a great discovery!
I wonder if A&H already know about this?

A cool form factor!

Although that seems to apply to the full version as well.

I’m pretty sure some will be disappointed that the MIDI ports were omitted.
But you can’t have everything.

Looks like A&H finally opened gigACE protocols for other companies, 10 years they were talking about it and finally it happened! May be we will

see some sort of gigACE-Virtual driver for recording and other applications..who knows:)

So, any specifics? Will it be able to connect directly to a DX port? Will it run the client on the surface touchscreen?

I don’t think anyone has any specifics yet, but I think it is highly unlikely that the system will be able to run the plugin client on the Surface’s screen. I think this improvement is all about the connecting and routing of I/O, not the actual control of the system.
