New to Dlive looking for channel library... or show file

I am new to the Dlive platform and i am looking to get up and running sooner then later i am looking for a show file or Dlive library I have a CDM64 and C3500 … I picked up second hand …

The Mixrack comes with a few “default” Show files. They cannot be deleted, so your units will have them available. These default show files are the same on every single Mixrack out there.

Outside of that, I would discourage people from sharing Show files. These systems have so many different ways of routing and processing audio, in addition to all the other settings available, that you will spend more time trying to figure out what someone else did than you will simply starting from scratch yourself.

I’m serious. You’ll have a harder time trying to use someone else’s Show file than you will simply setting up a system from scratch.

Maybe it’s the Channel library settings that I’m looking for at least a baseline for sample kick Channel or snare or bass guitar just at least a starting point

That doesn’t really exist because it’ll depend on what instruments they’re using, what mics you’re using, and what genre they’re playing.

If you need a starting point, I guess maybe the closest thing I can think of to an EQ setting I might apply without hearing anything first is to take some 300 - 400 Hz out of the drum channels, but even there it’s not actually always necessary. Sometimes my guitar EQ looks like I’m drawing pictures of mountain ranges, sometimes it’s completely flat. All this stuff just depends on what the band is doing and how I need things to sit in the mix.
