Noise during recording

Hi,

I have a Qu16 connected to a PC running Cubase 9. I recorded some sound through one of the mono channels. Sometimes during the recording, as the music plays, the sound becomes kind of metallic, and saturated. It screws up the whole recording.
I suspect it may be related to the buffering to the DAW. I have the latest driver (I am on windows 10).
What can I do to investigate this ?

I haven’t recorded to DAW yet (just the top USB), signing in here out of interest.

Hi,

I followed the guide in that link you posted. It still happens frequently. I don’t notice any difference.
