Since firmware update 2.0, whenever I rename the custom groups in OneMix, they automatically rename themselves to the name of one of the 3 groups at random. For example, I have my 3 custom groups set to “Vox”, “Inst”, and “Drums”. I can rename them, and they will remain that way the whole time I am logged into OneMix. However, when I log out, and then log back in again, they will all change to the same name, and it will choose one of the groups at random. So now all of my groups are named “Drums” while another Ipad with the exact same setup now has them all named “Vox”. Every time I fix them they just choose a new name at random, and while not a dealbreaker, it is frustrating, as many of the musicians that use our equipment struggle to operate the program without this feature, leaving me to explain the issue to them repeatedly. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug with the new firmware update?
Thanks,
Simon
It sounds like this is only reflected in the OneMix app (ie it is not changing the actual Mixrack labeling), correct?
Either way, I would recommend that you submit an official support ticket via the official A&H website. This forum is really just a user group and while the A&H staff monitors it, it is not the same thing as official A&H support.
I believe this is a known issue. I thought it’d been fixed, but maybe I’m mistaken… I don’t really look at our iPads much unless someone pokes at their setup and messes something up.
I have submitted this to Allen and Heath (around the same time I posted this). They informed me that it is a known issue, though they weren’t sure when they would get around to fixing it…
Thanks for the help guys. I guess I’ll just have to wait until the next firmware update. At least I know its not me doing something wrong.
2.02 was just released. While I don’t think A&H lists this issue in the “fixed” column, they seem to have fixed other Mixrack/One Mix issues and the issue is also not listed in the “known” bugs list. I’d certainly update and see if it fixes your problem.
