It’d be great if the CQ series had the ability to route FX bus sends from an input pre-fader. The unit is a great audio toolkit on the go for mobile recording, but there are times when it would be useful to preview output with effects without sending the corresponding input to the main outputs. Auditioning microphones or FX parameters for a singer while listening to a monitor out, for example.
A simple pre- / post- selection for FX sends would suffice, but for extra credit? I could see value in post-fader sends where I can determine which fader scales the send level. So having “Pre”, “Post-Main”, “Post-Out1”, “Post-Out2” etc. as options would also come in handy.
