I miss the excellent opto-compressor of the dLive.
it would be nice if it could also be used in the SQ.

Hey Wolfgang, haven’t mixed on dLive so far. Where do you prefer the Opto-Algorithm soundwise? The Attack/Release behaviour is different, right?
Thanks!
well observed
the Opto reacts very quickly and always stays very clean in sound. if you want unobtrusive compression, it is a first-class tool.
it can also be adjusted quite quickly and easily, which can be very helpful in live sound environments.
i mainly use it for vocals and drums, but it really can be used universally. before the “76” I did everything with it. for me it is important not to have as many compressor models as possible, but to concentrate on a few and get to know them better. in the dLive i use only three models: Opto, PeakLimiter76 and sometimes also the ManualRMS.
but of course this always depends on personal taste!
for my taste the Opto is one of the best compressors available for livesound.
that’s why i would like to use it in the SQ.

Keith says on the other thread that v1.3 update may contain major compressor update
