PA28 24-Channel Legacy Mixer Main Outputs

Which is best to use for live performances; Main LR or Main Output A B? If the AB Out is best, how to setup the EQ?

Feed most sound systems I would use the Main L R XLR outputs.

The built in EQ on those is a four band with each frequency band being sweepable / tunable in frequency but not controllable in the band width of the frequency like a full parametric EQ is.

If your trying to cut out a feedback frequency cut the frequency band that the feed back falls in and sweep the frequency around till the feedback is reduced.

You could always connect an external EQ or DSP up to the outputs of the mixer for more refined processing.

Thanks for the response. A friend suggested to use the 1/4” LR outs located at the top, but that bypasses the EQ. Haven’t tried it with the AB XLR outs on the back but may try it at our next gig. I will start with all the EQ set to 12 o’clock and go from there.

You can define which signal feeds the EQ. And that signal is routed to the XLR outs.
The manual describes it very well.
