PAFL & Cue Outputs

It seems like the Cue section could be improved a bit:

  • Treat the fixed Wedge and IEM PAFL channels like other channels, with the ability to re-name, apply EQ, and route internally.
  • Allow users to place PAFL busses on surface-accessible channels, instead of just having them fixed to the inflexible Wedge/IEM Channels
  • Allow users to route PAFL busses like other busses; instead of being hidden and fixed in routing.

Agreed!

2.0 is a remarkable upgrade, particularly for D-Pack enabled desks, but there’s still a glaring oversight…or maybe it’s being withheld intentionally to encourage the step up to D Live?

I have a pair of Avantis in a 1300 cap room. The biggest drawback to these consoles at monitors is the inability to have both PAFL busses allocated to the surface; it seems a waste to dedicate one solo bus to the iPad app. The only feature that keeps this platform from being a truly remarkable Monitor console is the lack of A & B solo buses.

It is refreshing, though, to have a console manufacturer who actually uses Firmware upgrades to expand the capabilities of their product rather than exclusively to fix bugs! Keep up the good work.

Agreed. A simple one would be just to be able to rename the Wedge and IEM outputs. For example… IEM is a confusing label if you have lots of things labelled IEM

To add further sad that you can’t route the monitor buses into a Matrix and that the the wedge bus is fixed mono.
