Currently on A&H mixers that have the Automatic Mic Mixing feature - users cannot PFL channels that are currently active in AMM mode. This is true on at least Dlive and SQ as we have those mixers and this is a weird behaviour in my opinion. We use AMM for dialogue in theatre productions and not being able to listen to those channels is a huge proplem.
Maybe I don’t get it. I’m just curious to understand the issue. Maybe you can help me out…
So on SQ there is Setup - Audio - Input to PAFL Source. I always changed this to Post Preamp when I needed to listen to a speaker that was currently ducked down by another input.

The issue is only when Automatic Mic Mixing (AMM) is engaged on some channels. Those channels when active cant be PFL’d to headphones unless the AMM is turned off. This was an issue on Dlive pre firmware V2.12 I am unsure if it has been fixed in SQ? On our current SQ firmware it is still a problem. I don’t have the SQ mixer handy to check or update if this has been addressed.
I just checked on dLive and SQ. I can confirm that both are working fine. I think dLive only had this issue with firmware 2.11. On SQ you have to change your PAFL setting from post delay/AMM to Post Compressor (or any of the other options).
It appears that you are using (or are required to use (?)) outdated and buggy firmware.
Among other things, it seems that the issue was already resolved in February 2025 with firmware version 1.6.
