On two separate occasions I have seen the parametric EQ colors disappear on the Qu-16 display while running firmware 1.4. I cannot reliably reproduce, but since it has definitely happened twice it seems like some sort of bug. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
Yes, I have. Sometimes you need to click on the lines to restore the colors.
Whether there any difference in PEQ behavior depending upon whether the colors are shown I can’t say- maybe a bug maybe there is a subtle feature I’m missing…

This behaviour is normal, a subtle feature if you will 
Tapping the PEQ graph while on the PEQ screen toggles on and off the curve backfill. This will not affect how the EQ sounds in any way.
