PEQ knob resolution to match the Main encoder Knob

I was wondering if users would rather the PEQ encoders have the same resolution and acceleration behavior as the main encoder. This would give the user the same fine control for dialing in exact values. I spoke with the A&H team and they said the PEQ knob response was designed to mimic an analogue console potentiometer rather than an encoder with acceleration. But I find the response of the main encoder to be fantastic for dialing in the PEQ.

What do you all think?

Since you were kind enough to ask: Personally, I think it’s just right the way it is.
You adjust the parameters entirely by feel and ear in the usual way, and if you really want to set things based on specific values, you have the option of using the “yellow encoder” - as you already noted too.

Thanks for replying. Maybe there could be the option for both! I see your point though.
