Hi folks, I´ve learned in this forum that I can change groups in a QU-SB into a mix and this way I could provide more than 3 stereo IEM mixes.
What I did not learn so far is: How do I physically get a group that is used as a mix out of the QU-SB into an IEM transmitter? Which physical outputs on my QU-SB do I have to use and how do I assign a group/converted into a mix to that physical output?
You can use the matrix out and even the pfl headphone-out. The easiest way is to use a digital stagebox and route the four groups -now mixes- to that though.
Thanks Giga, as I am planning to buy an AR84 anyway, that would mean I route two groups - now two stereo mixes - to all in all 4 XLR outputs on the AR84? And how exactly would I do that? Any how-to-link or screenshots from the software?
You would need to assign each aux output to a physical XLR output (either on the console or stagebox). If the auxes are stereo outputs, then you will need two physical outputs per stereo aux.
It’s very easy to do. As suggested, you really need to download the “QU Reference Guide” to read about the specifics.
