When i use meters for groups and matrices i can select a pickoff point post preamp. but when i do i get no signal on the meters, which seems logical because there are no preamps on those. When i select post insert point i get meter readings. For me this is a bug, post preamp should not be selectable on groups and matrices. This was very confusing at first. Or am i missing something here?
Could you perhaps first tell us which uncategorized other A&H product you are referring to?
In custom control you can configure things for different mixers. Some of them do have an external input at the mixes or matrices.
This case is for custom control software from a&h
I know but when i select my DLIVE CDM32 who does not have preamp input on the groups ( it has insert and that is working on the meters when i select post ext input) should the software not take into account its possibilities and therefor exclude post preamp pickoff point, especially because if you do select that you get no meter reading?
The dLive has external inputs on all buses.
If you do connect something to the external in, you got metering information.
