I work with theater actors and they use hand microphones, I often need multiband compression, and I wish I could place it between the EQ and compression.
It will be really nice to choose a place which I can place an insert effect.

As a workaround you could eq the channel, route the channel to a subgroup, then insert and compress on the subgroup and route the subgroup to LR.
