Pre-Sale question - how to connect

Hi.
Was an long time ILive user - and currently searching for a new System.

I am interessted in buying an DM32 along with and IP6 and an IP8 - but no surface.
So my question is this:
How do i connect the IP6 if this should stay on stage next to the MixRack and then run a single CAT5 Cable to FOH to connect an
PC for use with Director Software and the IP8 (for having a couple of faders).

How would the system be connected - and is this even possible (with ans single CAT5 Cable?)?

Hello,

FOH - Director & IP8 go into a switch (Switch-If you don’t want to use the IP power supplies you need a POE+ switch for the IP8)
1 CAT5 Cable from the FOH switch to Network Port 1 on the DM MixRack.
Stage - IP6 Into Network Port 2 on the DM MixRack.

I had a look at Director and tried to find how to configure the IP8 offline.
Is this not implemented yet or did i just not find it?

Yes, you can configure IP Controllers offline in Director, from V1.30.
