Preset or Library Selector in CC

Is it possible to include a Library or Preset selector in Custom Control (CC)? I’d like end users to be able to access the Channel or Zone Library directly from a CC layout.

Currently, the only workaround I’ve found is to create a preset that loads a specific library for a single channel. This means building separate presets for each player, multiplied by each channel. Once those presets are created, there’s no straightforward way to access them—CC selectors only provide options for “Zone,” “Room,” and “Playback,” with no support for “Custom” or “Preset” selection.

To work around this, I’ve been creating unused Zones for each channel and using their selectors as a stand-in for a Library selector. It’s a fairly cumbersome solution just to access the channel strip library from within CC.

As I’m writing this, I realize this might be more of a feature request—but before submitting one, I wanted to check if I might be missing a simpler solution within CC.

Heard and we will add it to the feature request list!
In the meantime, you’re correct in using Presets to trigger processing/library changes. I’m assuming when you say “channel” you mean Input – so you want to change Input and Zone processing/libraries.

Other than making buttons per setting you’d like them to access, the Selector on a Zone (as you’ve set up) is still the best way to go about it.
Seems reasonable to be able to want to put Presets in a Selector in CC directly (instead of going through a Zone). I will be sure it’s added to our list for future updates!

Yes I was referring to inputs, Thank you!

I did simplify the design abit by making all the presets available from one selector and being very specific in labeling the presets. Instead of having a selector per input.

Again thank you!
