hope you can help me. Yesterday, my Qu16 worked as well as always. But today, i am not able to start the mixer.
After pushing the start button, the only reaction is a running light on the Pan controller. The display does not boot up and of cause no other leds are flashing.
Before i shut down the mixer yesterday, i made some changes on the network configuration and i also connected a Q- drive before i try to start the console.
So pleas can you help me to find out whats going on?
This is done by loading the firmware onto a formatted USB drive, outside of any folders including the AHQU folder.
You then insert the drive into the USB A Qu-Drive port when the mixer is powered off.
Press and hold the USB and HPF In keys whilst powering on the unit. It will then show this same behaviour and, if it loads the firmware successfully, it should eventually boot.
If this doesn’t solve the problem, it is likely a hardware issue.
Hi,
I have same issue with a Qu Pack customer, he tried to update from V1.90 to V1.95 and screen is black, nothing starts, could you please tell me what is the “forced update firmware” constists in ?
THanks
Please I need to perform a forced firmware installation.
Qu-16 works correctly from ipad but the screen does not turn on since the last power on. The screen is illuminated with vertical stripes.
I need help, urgently!

If the QU16 is functioning correctly when controlled with the iPad the issue may be just with the display itself.
You should be able to do start a firmware update with the iPad. You will need the firmware loaded on a USB stick plugged into the mixer.
chirlo, I would try a hard reset. First do a full show save to usb drive.
To hard reset the Qu mixer - Press and hold the
touch screen Reset and Setup keys together and then
power up the mixer. Keep the keys pressed for at least
5 seconds while the mixer boots. Release the keys.
Press and hold the USB and HPF In keys whilst powering on the unit. It will then show this same behaviour and, if it loads the firmware successfully, it should eventually boot.
