QU-16 Editor?

Any plans for an editor similar to the GLD Editor. The user interface looks very similar to the QU-16 and from what I’ve read, the command codes are the same.

qu-16 pc editor would be ideal. used offline or online. this way we could prepair for shows like we do on larger desks without having to have the desk as well as having more control during the show. (01v has it)

thanks!

We could also set up the next band while there is a band on stage during a festival.

Right now I can’t see the big need but I never like to criticize others ideas lest I have mine critiqued :-). I think with just 16ch plus 3 stereo it is not as big a deal as a larger desk for ops or pre band sets. That said, I think a case could be made for it making up for the deficiencies in the QU-pad as for online use away from console and ready for when the console expands inputs soon I hope. I would always be for anything to enhance the product. I love the GLD editor.

Go for it.

Offline editing is really useful for people who hire desks…

It’s a valuable tool, and not one to underestimate…

Qu-16 Editor for Mac and Windows please. I think there couldn´t be an easier way of configuring the whole desk.

I would love to see an editor, too. +1

+1 Editor the QU

Even an application that could simply create scene files to load via USB - although obviously a full editor would be preferred.

Another request - offline editor! Please.

  1. This has been requested for more than a year now without even an answer. Give up.
  2. Mark doesn’t like the “+1” thing
  3. get a 747 if you don’t like the Qu
  1. There is no giving up!
    There is eternal optimism.

  2. What else would we write - it’s an unfortunate “meme”, but it does rather effectively convey the “add my voice to this request” sentiment.

  3. Why would a plane help me? I have a QU, and I love it. But because it spends an amount of it’s life on hire it would be really useful for those people who use it to be able to play about and configure a show before the mixer arrives…
It would be nice to be able to pull up a virtual QU on screen when answering questions here. An editor which could save scenes to a USB stick (appropriately configured) would be of significant use to many people, people for whom the feature set of a QU is just about perfect, and for whom the GLD range is somewhere between “out of reach” and “silly money”.

Ideally the feature suggestion pages would have some sort of mechanism in place to rank ideas in order of freshness or popularity, so that we don’t see the same idea copied across umpteen threads. A bit like Reddit?

Reddit looks interesting, I didn’t know it. As long as one vote per forum member can be assured it looks good!

Doesn’t need to be one vote per member, there might be several things I’d like to see.

Some (manageable) number of votes is probably more sane.
