I’ve been using my Qu-16 for several years sending audio and MIDI to the mixer from SCS on my Windows laptop. Also receiving MIDI from the mixer. However, yesterday I found the computer (using SCS or MIDI-OX) no longer saw any Qu MIDI device. Audio still sends successfully. I tried changing the USB cable, and also tried two other Windows computers in case some Windows update had affect it, but those computers also could not see the Qu MIDI devices. One of those computers has not had a Windows update for probably a couple of years. I’ve also tried a reset of the Qu-16 (after saving and restoring required scenes). Occasionally the computer would see the Qu-16 as a MIDI In device, but not always. Could this issue be a slightly damaged USB socket on the Qu-16? Any other ideas?
Some of the nee Windows 11 Midi. Features are broken. My guess is that by the end of April it will be all sorted out

Thanks both of you. I see that ‘end of April’ is mentioned in the bug report about dynamic ports not always visible, so I’ll wait until then. I preferably need this fixed by mid-May.
Thanks to A&H Support for a fix! I was concerned that there was a problem with the USB connection but the problem is Windows. The following fixed the issue:
- Open Windows Terminal as an Administrator (“run as administrator”)
- Type net stop midisrv
- After that completes, type net start midisrv
I was also provided with procedures to remove the update that caused the problem, but for my immediate requirements I’ll just continue to use the above when necessary.
