In dire need of assistance!
I’m doing a theatre production with lots of audio cues in QLab 4, and USB streaming to a Qu-16 works perfectly from my ageing MacBook 7.1 …
However, despite the fact that the MacBook and QLab can perfectly see the Qu-16, both as an audio and midi device, I can not for the life of me find out how to send a midi message from QLab to just recall scenes on th Qu-16 ….
I tried using A&H’s own “Qu-Midi Generator” XLS doc, which generates a SysEx message to be sent from QLab. In this both the correct midi channel, bank and scene number is represented (B0 00 00 B0 20 00 C0 00), Midi device is correctly set as destination in QLab, but it still doesn’t work and I’m at my wit’s end …
The Qu-16 manual states that USB via MIDI is the preferred method … Others say you should run through the Midi Control App to make anything work …
