Have a fault with our QU-16. Sometimes it just powers off, then doesn’t power back on again. No stage box connected. Tried removing and reinserting IEC, flicking switch off/on etc. Only solutions seems to be waiting about 15 mins then flicking power on again and it boots fine.
We feel like it may be heat related, i.e. turns off when its too hot (happened once in the sun, once in a room with way too many heaters on).
I can’t see any way to download diagnostic logs - am I missing something, or are there no diagnostic logs?
Has anyone had this issue before?

I do not see diagnostics in the user manual.
Maybe their distributor has some for use when they repair things.
The manual says this:
Recommended operating temperature for Qu is 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. Thats 95 in real units of temperature.
Avoid using the equipment in extreme heat and direct sunlight. Make sure the mixer ventilation slots are not obstructed and that there is adequate air movement around the equipment.
Thanks, we obviously don’t put it in the sun intentionally, but a bit hard to avoid sometimes at a festival. Ventilation slots weren’t covered.
Not every 100% sure if heat is the culprit yet. Hoping for a diagnostic log which might point us in the right direction. Would be nice to have some evidence before we just pull the trigger and replace the PSU etc.
You can go to the set up menu and in the utility menu it will show you the internal
operating temp.
I use mine QU Pac outside in the heat with no issues, I do have low speed fan built in the rack blowing into the bottom vents, to keep the sun directly off of it I’ll put either a white towel or reflective solar tarp over on it at times.
What’s it do when running inside where it’s cool and out of the sun?

He seemed to indicate that after it cooled off then it worked again.
But maybe too many heat cycles did cause damage.
He needs his dealer to check it out if it won’t work at all now.
Yep I’ve found the on-screen diagnostics. But I was hoping for crash logs, e.g. “Internal temp too hot, powering console off now!”
The DAC seems to sit around 55-60 deg C - I’m not sure if that’s normal?
It boots fine currently, and has been running continuously in the workshop for a few days.
My dealer wants to replace the PSU, which is not cheap. They gave no comment about diagnostic crash logs, so I will assume they don’t exist for the QU series.

if it is working I would not fix it until it is a hard total failure
and I would keep it out of the heat especially direct sun
also add an external fan to help cooling
and check for any blocked vents that might be trapping heat
Dont know the spec for internal temps but suspect it gets HOT in there
some pcs need water cooling due to the heat level

Try resetting the settings to zero. I was able to fix the problem this way.
We are in New Zealand, so our pricing might not be very relevant. But I can confirm we just got the replacement PSU from our distributor, and installed it ourselves. It’s a fairly easy swap if you are careful.
