Hello All.
Received my new/demo QU-5 and just looking through it. I saw I it had some scenes saved and had a soft key yelling at me (blink, blink, blink). So, I went to try and factory reset so I could start my learning. However, it does not seem to want to reset. Doesn’t ask to confirm or really anything when I try this.
Process I saw was to power up while holding the setup & reset buttons.
Can anyone Illuminate me on the process? Any help would be appreciated.
That seems to be the process for the Legacy Qu consoles.
From the manual, the process for the newer Qu-5/6/7 models is as such:
Guessing the flashing soft key might have been the Tap Tempo button.
The blinking soft key at the lower right is tap tempo as default, so it stays blinking even after a factory reset.
Hey. Thanks so much for the replies. I did figure this out but did not see the factory reset in the documentation. That, of course, is on me!
The soft key blinking is the global BPM setting display, and, very annoyingly as far as I am concerned, is there at first startup and after a global reset, even if you change that particular key to some others, or no, function.
Not sure about pre saved scenes, its several months since I set one up.
