Good day. I have an AH Qu 5D mixing console. The latest firmware version, 1.1.1, has been installed.
After being idle for two hours or more, the console won’t start. It runs a self-test and freezes with the Qu logo on the screen. If I physically press the power button and try to turn it on again, the console boots up and works. I’ve tried reflashing the firmware again. I’ve also tried a hard reset. Nothing helped. Is there any chance this is a software bug? Or should I return the console? We didn’t have time to really use the console, but we updated it to the latest version and immediately encountered this problem. Thanks in advance.

No, if the device was turned off, it won’t turn on the first time. The qu logo appears and then the boot process doesn’t continue. You can turn the device off again and turn it on again with the power button, and it will boot normally.
Maybe try a firmware re install and or going back one version as a test.
When the console is new and you start it, if there are no channels selected (SEL key is green), the touch screen displays the Qu logo and at the bottom, it displays the firmware on left and 4 Icons: Shutdown, Lock, Use, Brightness.
If you are seeing this, then it is booted. Press a SEL key. If not, do a factory reset. If that fails, the console has an issue. We have a Qu7, just updated the firmware to 111 and this console works well.

It has been observed that if the ambient temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius, specifically around 18-19 degrees Celsius, the console fails to boot up on the first attempt. However, the console starts and loads properly when the ambient temperature exceeds 20 degrees Celsius. This observation was made through repeated restarts and by monitoring the board temperature in the console utility.
Has anyone attempted to downgrade the firmware on the QU5D? I approach this with caution, as previous versions are not available on the official website.
