Our church is using a Qu-Pac with the LR mix going to speakers and Mix 5-6 being streamed to OBS and onto FaceBook live.
I am a rookie with all this so please keep that in mind.
We would like to use the Phones jack on the Qu-Pac front panel to monitor Mix 5-6. But it always seems to give me the LR mix. Is there a way we can get the Mix 5-6 to the Phones jack?
@SQuser
In the Qu-Pad image you sent I see the PAFL is yellow for Mix 4 and Mix 7-8. When it’s yellow does that mean that mix goes on the PAFL bus to the phone jack? So in the picture both of those mixes (4 & 7) will go to the phones. If I only want to hear 5-6 then I make sure all the other PAFLs are dark background and turn the PAFL on for 5-6. Do I have this correct?
Yes you have that correct. You want only the PFl selected on mix 5-6. However you get there iPad app or front panel on the Qu Pac the result will be the same.
You need to select PFL on the mix master fader for mix 5-6.
I the front panel picture that is posted you would want to select the FX MIX tab
and then select mix 5-6 on the screen.

Yes, the picture I found online unfortunately does not show the standard case, which is certainly better for you, in which always only one channel/mix can be selected for PAFL.
If you unexpectedly have several mixes that can be selected at the same time, it is better to switch Setup - Audio - PAFL - Additive to Off.
Success! I went to our facility this morning and activating the PAFL for the stream mix (5-6) allowed me to monitor it via the Phone jack. This is exactly what I needed.
One observation - it appears as though the LR mix gets routed to the Phones even if the PAFL is not turned on for that mix. Not a problem - just something I noticed.
Thanks again - no way I would have figured this out on my own.

That’s right so.
LR is always listened to when no PAFL is selected.
