I’m looking at Allen & Heath mixers. I just read that with both the SQ series and the newly revised QU series one can use the MixPad software, but can create a mix setup offline only with the SQ.
Does that mean there isn’t a way to setup a QU (QU5/6/7) mixer at home and load the configuration later at a venue? Or is there another way to pre-setup the QU and then load the configuration later at a venue? And save/ recall settings used at a previous show/venue?
Save and load the show via USB.
Of course, you need a physical QU mixer to create and save the initial configuration to the USB stick.
I am not sure regarding the capabilities of the QU MixPad App. We have an SQ-7 and use SQ MixPad - that has an offline configuration mode and show push/pull capability (as you explain).
Download the QU App and play beforehand, or ask an A&H distributor.

Currently there is no OFFLINE facility on the QU MIXPAD app, I also would like this as I have just installed a QU5D at my local theatre, and I only own CQ18T, SQ5, SQ Rack, AHM16 and AHM64. So no way to pre make my shows at home, despite owning well over £10000 worth of A&H gear, if you include all my DX boxes and ME kit.
