Does the Qu-SB fit in a shallow 4U flight case? Qu-Pac fits in this one:

Second that!, Im using this case with the QU-SB
Sorry for asking this in two threads. Can you close the SKB front lid with the cables left plugged in?

this is the case i ordered from amazon, it works great. and yes you can close it with cables plugged in.

No, not possible.
The clearance with that SKB shallow rack is only just enough for the Qu-SB without cables.
That said, I used right-angle RCA to TS adaptors for the Stereo-1 inputs, those I can leave plugged in.
As andyoz mentioned previously, I use this shallow 4U case and it fits perfectly
I’ve also rear mounted a 2U perforated panel upon which is mounted a 4-way power block and TP-Link 802 router (see pic). A quick note on the router, the way it’s mounted works fine if you’re in reasonably close range (20 feet) but would recommend an external device when in a larger or WiFi-noisy environment. Mounting it on the outside of the 2U panel would probably improve things and this is an option since the rear panel will still accommodate it when not in use. Speaking of the rear panel, this also incorporates a zipped mesh compartment ideal for lead or footswitch storage.

I’ve just used the Gator GR-4S shallow rack. You’ll see the low profile XLR connectors from Cable Techniques (https://www.cabletechniques.com/lopro-xlr-mini-xlr) on the front. These are great because the case cover still fits with these in place. This means I can mount additional equipment in the rear of the rack and leave it wired in. I also have a NetGear router. I selected that because it has a WiFi-off button, so in venues where we aren’t allowed to use WiFi I can make a wired connection to the mixer from the iPad.
