Qu SB - input on mix is muted but FX remains on

Hi

We have a QU SB , main use with 3 inputs on which all have FX reverb applied via send and return.

We have physical switches for all mics for easy on / off

I recently installed a monitor speaker and noticed

Whilst all mics are off using the physical switch no sound signal is registered on the qu pad. However, the mic remains which I believe is the reverb. I tested this by muting the mics on the room mix via the qu pad.

All mics muted however a reverb was registered into the mic and could be hears via speakers.

This also now means that the monitor speaker is also registering frequency from the mics even though the faders are all completely down for 2 out of 3 mics.

Any suggestions

Ive tried the insert instead of send and return however this changes the way the reverb sounds and also only apply to a single channel

If the input is muted, the reverb will get no signal as well, no matter what you do with the faders.
Where did you connect the monitor?

If you mute all the inputs via the QU Pad app what happens?

If that has muted all the sound start un muting the channels one at a time and listen.

Is there any stage box connected? Where did you connect the monitor to what and what jack is it plugged in to.

I’ve had that happen too. Took me a while to figure it out. Iirc it was a combination of having a hidden/forgotten about fx that was pre-fader. Also, there is some bleed between “input-strips” so it might be worth trying to mute neighboring channel(s).
